Smith is a business strategist, planner, and forecaster with a specific expertise in due diligence and valuations. For nearly 30 years, he has served small to medium enterprise business owners, start-up entrepreneurs and the capital market community by being an intermediary that specializes in developing and executing professional-grade business finance documentation.
Since 2019, he and his teams have completed an average of four valuations per month (More than 200). Tony has heard more than 11,000 elevator pitches and has curated more than 125,000 documents since 1995.
Leader, Developer, Speaker
Smith has taught more than 75 seminars and courses in business finance and business valuations. He has served as a keynote speaker for business finance and alternative-speculative investing. Smith created and developed numerous financial technologies. He has mentored dozens of MBA students and is an invited speaker at colleges and universities across the nation such as: The UCLA School of Law Continuing Education (CA State Bar CE), West Virginia University (WVU), University of Las Vegas (UNLV), and the University of Nevada at Reno (UNR).

The Essential Handbook for Small Businesses ISBN# 978-0-9840365-0-9 in 2011. The Business Development Directory in 2008 with the federally funded Workforce Investment Board. He led the research of the Certified Business Plan™ and CBP Score™ from 2008 to 2017 and completed a 10-year study of 300 companies seeking capital and published the research in January 2018.
Valuation Expert
Smith has served as a witness on cases involving business valuation as a subject matter expert. Tony has completed valuations for: Mergers & Acquisitions; Capital Fundraise Equity Price; Business Sale; Pre-Initial Public Offering; Civil Court Dispute Resolution; Generational Transfer.
Volunteer
Smith is an advocate for community organizations. He volunteers an average of 300 hours per year. His time has been primarily spent as a 24-hour church volunteer. He has also volunteered, been a member of, and/or supported the VFW, Junior Achievement, and Special Olympics.
Education
Graduate of the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with Cum Laude Honors. Completed more than a dozen professional licenses and certificates. Smith is a Veteran of Foreign Wars, USMC (MAG-11, MALS-11 Aviation Ordnance, Desert Shield and Desert Storm).
